This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the initial account setup process in Realview Hub using the onboarding wizard. This wizard helps you configure essential settings to get your business up and running efficiently.

Prerequisites

  • An active Realview Hub account.

  • Successfully logged into your Realview Hub account for the first time.

Steps

Upon your first login, you will be presented with the "Welcome to NY Media Demo" onboarding wizard. This wizard guides you through several key configuration steps.

1. Welcome

  1. On the "Welcome to NY Media Demo" screen, review the introductory message.

  2. Click the Get Started button to begin the setup process.

2. Financial Setup

This section allows you to configure your business's financial settings.

  1. Currency: Select your business's operating currency.

  2. Time Zone: Choose your business's time zone.

  3. Tax Rate: Enter the applicable tax rate for your region (e.g., 13% for Ontario).

  4. Unit of Measurement: Select your preferred unit of measurement (e.g., Imperial).

  5. Invoice Prefix: Enter a prefix for your invoices (e.g., INV).

    • Note: This prefix cannot be changed later without contacting support.

  6. Starting Invoice Number: Specify the starting number for your invoices (e.g., 1000).

  7. Click Next.

3. Contact Info

Provide the primary contact details for your business. This email address will be visible to your customers and staff.

  1. Contact Email: Enter a contact email address. This should be different from your login email.

  2. Phone Number: Input your business's contact phone number.

  3. Country: Select your business's country.

  4. Address: Enter your business's street address.

  5. City: Enter your business's city.

  6. Click Next.

4. Social Media

Add your social media account links to integrate them with your Realview Hub presence.

  1. Enter the URLs for your social media accounts. These will be used on your order forms, landing pages, and other advertised content.

  2. Click Next.

5. Email Branding

Configure email whitelabeling to send emails from your own domain.

  1. Enter the email address you wish to use for sending communications.

  2. Realview Hub uses Amazon AWS email services. Upon entering your email, Amazon will send a confirmation email to that address.

  3. Open the confirmation email and click the provided link to verify your email. This process is free of charge.

    • Note: If you do not complete this step, emails sent from the app will use a generic "[email protected]" address.

  4. Click Next (or skip for now if you prefer to configure this later).

6. Custom Domain

Whitelabel your Realview Hub application with your existing domain.

  1. Enter your custom domain (e.g., media.nymediademo.com).

    • Note: This ensures that all login pages, staff portals, and customer portals reflect your branding. If you do not have a custom domain, you can skip this step.

  2. Click Continue.

7. Terms of Service

Create and manage your terms of service.

  1. Enter your terms of service content. The system uses placeholders to embed customer information when an order is placed or media is downloaded.

  2. Choose where to display these terms:

    • Show on all order forms

    • Enforce in the delivery page

    • Both

  3. Click Next (or skip for now).

8. Copyright

Apply copyright information for your media work.

  1. Enter your copyright details.

  2. Click Next (or skip for now).

9. Review

Review all the settings you have configured.

  1. Carefully check all the information you have entered in the previous steps.

  2. If everything is correct, click Complete Your Setup.

Tips

  • Invoice Prefix: Be mindful when setting your invoice prefix as it requires support intervention to change later.

  • Email Branding: Whitelabeling your email is crucial for professional communication and branding. Ensure you complete the Amazon AWS email verification process.

  • Terms of Service: Utilize the dynamic placeholders in the Terms of Service to automatically embed relevant customer data.
