Introduction
This guide outlines the process of migrating your customer database from third-party providers, such as HD Photo Hub and Aryeo, to your Realview Hub platform. This migration allows you to consolidate your customer data and provide them with access to the new platform.
Prerequisites
Before you begin the migration process, ensure you have the following:
Access to your Realview Hub account.
The API Key from your previous provider (HD Photo Hub or Aryeo). This key is typically found in your account settings with the third-party provider.
Your HD Photo Hub Domain Name (if migrating from HD Photo Hub and using a custom domain).
Steps
1. Navigate to Settings
From the main Realview Hub application interface, locate and click on the Settings icon, usually represented by a gear icon.
2. Access the Migration Tab
In the left-hand navigation menu, under the "Integration" section, click on Migration.
3. Select Your Third-Party Provider
On the Migration page, you will see sections for different third-party providers.
Locate the section titled Migrate from HD Photo Hub or Migrate from Aryeo, depending on your previous provider.
Click on the section header to expand it if it is not already open.
4. Enter API Configuration Details
Provide the necessary API credentials for your chosen provider:
For HD Photo Hub:
In the HD Photo Hub Domain field, enter your domain name (e.g.,
yourdomain.com). The system will automatically addhttps://and/api/v1/usersto the URL.In the API Key field, enter your HD Photo Hub API key.
For Aryeo:
In the API Key field, enter your Aryeo API key.
5. Validate API
After entering the required information, click the Validate API button. This action will retrieve your customer database, including customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and other relevant customer information.
6. Map Customer Data (Field Mapping)
Upon successful API validation, you will proceed to the "Field Mapping" stage. Here, you will map the retrieved customer data fields from your previous provider to the corresponding fields within your Realview Hub customer database. You can specify how fields like first name, last name, full name, company email, or personal email should be imported.
7. Complete Migration
Once you have completed the data mapping, proceed with the "Migration" step to import your customers into Realview Hub.
8. Create Customer Logins (Optional)
After the migration is complete, you will be prompted to create logins for the newly imported customers. You have two options:
Create logins for all imported customers: This will generate login credentials for every customer migrated.
Select individual customers: This allows you to choose specific customers for whom you want to create logins.
If you choose to create logins, the system will automatically generate a login for each selected customer and send them an email containing a password reset link. Customers can then click this link, set a new password, and gain access to the Realview Hub platform.
Tips
Always ensure you have the correct and up-to-date API credentials from your previous provider to facilitate a smooth migration.
The migration process is designed for efficiency, often completing within seconds once the API is validated and data is mapped.
Review the field mapping carefully to ensure all customer data is imported and organized as desired in Realview Hub.
Conclusion
By following these steps, you can successfully migrate your customer data from third-party providers to Realview Hub, enabling a seamless transition and providing your customers with access to your new platform.
